The Senior Advisor is an honorary position filled by a senior spouse to advise the president and FRSC as it conducts activities.
The 2nd VP is responsible for all fundraising efforts, including our two semi-annual public fundraising events in November and March.
The Treasurer handles all the accounting, budgeting, submits reports, and manages every financial aspect of the FRSC.
Hospitality welcomes new members, handles member recognition, and manages the Welcome and Farewell of the spouses of the 5 senior Fort Riley leaders.
The Community Outreach coordinates with local charities and other organizations and chairs the committee that determines grant distribution each year.
The Newsletter chair compiles all the FRSC happenings, designs a newsletter, and sends it out each month.
The Historian captures photos and video of our many events and activities for posterity and to use in media or communications.
The Retiree Representative provide information for invitations to FRSC events for distribution through the retiree organizations throughout the community (i.e. The Lady Troopers, OTR, etc.).
The President is responsible for the overall operation of the FRSC and leads the team.
The 3rd VP is responsible for official communications and technology, which includes software & services, advertising, public relations, and other marketing efforts.
The Parliamentarian advise the President or Committee Chair as needed and aid in following the Constitution, Bylaws, Post and DOD regulations related to private organizations.
The Membership Chairperson runs membership drives and ensures membership records are kept up to date.
The Mother Flocker is responsible for all flocking activities and manages the care and feeding of the flock.
The Social Media chairperson coordinate with the 3rdVice President on-social media marketing planand other content to be published monthly, at minimum.
The Property Manager... manages our property! Did you know the FRSC also rents its property to other organizations like SFRGs, coffee groups, etc.?
In addition to standing in for the President when necessary, the 1st VP is responsible for monthly general membership programs, including monthly luncheons.
The Secretary records all official business conducted by the FRSC, taking minutes and reporting information to the DFMWR.
The Special Activities Chair oversees the leaders and Points of Contact for all of our great sub clubs.
The Vendors Relations make the vendor contract and policy available to the Public Relations, and Newsletter chairs for FRSC website, Facebook page or any other means of approved social media.
The Volunteer Coordinator helps connect members with volunteering opportunities and seeks out volunteers for our fundraisers and monthly programs.
The FRSC Webmaster handles the design, function, and content of our website.
Ways and Means
The Ways and Means chairperson is responsible for the FRSC's direct sales efforts, including the items at each luncheon and our online store.
