OCTOBER CHARITY OF THE MONTH

NAME: Quilts of Valor-Wamego

LOCATION: Wamego, KS

MISSION: To cover those touched by war with comfort and healing by creating hand-made quilts for them.

WHY WE LOVE THIS CHARITY: We have witnessed first hand how much these quilts mean to recipients, who often feel that their service has gone unnoticed. We appreciate that the focus of this charity is on members of the military community who are often overlooked: retirees and veterans.

HOW YOU CAN HELP: order a flocking or flagging in October! Your entire flocking fee will be donated to Quilts of Valor to help them purchase fabric and quilting supplies.
