Hi, my name is Julie Hanes. I am from a suburb of Kansas City, MO (Go Chiefs and Royals!)​. I met and started dating my husband my senior year in high school. We went to separate colleges where I got my degree in Civil Engineering. My husband and I got married a year after we graduated from college and will celebrate 13 years in May. We were blessed with two beautiful children born at 2 different Alaska duty stations. Our daughter is 9 and our son is 6.

I love the adventure of being an Army wife. I get to meet new friends all the time and keep the old ones.
