Hello! My name is Megan York, and I am excited to serve as the FRSC's first Social Media Chair! I originally hail from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. However, as an Air Force brat, I grew up in various states, as well as overseas. While living in Germany with my parents, I met my husband who was stationed at Landstuhl; we were married in Denmark in 2010. I enjoy traveling, gardening, and lazy days with my husband and our two dogs!
I had never been a part of the Spouses Club before moving here to Fort Riley; I am glad I decided to take a chance and join! I think many spouses can benefit from joining the FRSC, so I am looking forward to promoting the FRSC through various social media platforms. I hope we can reach a wider audience in the coming year to increase membership, providing invaluable camaraderie and support to a greater number of spouses here at Fort Riley!
